healthd
A personal, self-hosted health dashboard.
healthd is a private, single-user application. It runs on its owner's own home server and gathers their health and fitness data into one place, so they can see trends in activity, sleep and heart rate over time.
What it does with Google
healthd connects to the Google Health API with read-only access to its owner's own account, covering:
- activity and fitness (steps, distance, exercise),
- health metrics and measurements (heart rate, weight, SpO2, HRV),
- sleep.
The data is copied to a database on the owner's server and shown back to them on their own dashboard. It is never sold, shared or used for advertising, and healthd never writes anything to the Google account.
Who can use it
healthd is not a public service and has no sign-up. The only person who authorizes it is the person running it. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google or Fitbit.
